  • Lovejoy is a Brighton-based indie rock band formed in 2021, led by singer-songwriter and internet creator Will Gold on vocals and rhythm guitar, Ash Kabosu on bass, Joe Goldsmith on lead guitar and backing vocals, and Mark Boardman on drums.

    The band is known, and loved, for their punchy guitar hooks, sharp and witty lyricism alongside its emotionally charged storytelling. Lovejoy gained notoriety for their sound and stories with EPs like Are You Alright?, Pebble Brain, and Wake Up & It’s Over.

    Lovejoy’s music blends English alt rock influences with nu-metal and indie in various capacities, and the band’s highly anticipated debut album, One Simple Trick, releases on October 3, 2025.

  • Lovejoy just announced their debut record, on July 18th to be exact, One Simple Trick is due out on October 3rd, 2025. This comes after the release of the first single off the record, “With Rob As My Witness.”

  • Yes! Lovejoy have a brand new YouTube channel titled LVJYetc – we’ve written about a few of the videos the band have posted – but you can find a link to the channel here.

  • Lovejoy’s first EP Are You Alright? released in May 2021. The four-track EP introduced Lovejoy with songs like Taunt, One Day, Sex Sells, and Cause for Concern.

    Lovejoy’s second EP Pebble Brain released in October 2021. The seven-track follow-up included “Oh Yeah, You Gonna Cry?,” “Model Buses,” “Concrete,” “Perfume,” “You’ll Understand When You’re Older,” “The Fall,” and “It’s All Futile! It’s All Pointless!.”

    Lovejoy’s third EP Wake Up & It’s Over released in October 2023. The five-track piece contained “Portrait of a Blank Slate,” “Call Me What You Like,” “Consequences,” “Warsaw,” “Scum” and “It's Golden Hour Somewhere.”

    Lovejoy have also released three notable, standalone singles: “Knee Deep at ATP,” “Normal People Things,” “I’ll Look Good When I’m Sober.”
