Lovejoy Announces Debut Album “One Simple Trick” – Out October 3, 2025
The day Lovenjoyers have been finally waiting for has arrived – the official announcement of Lovejoy’s debut album.
Yesterday, Lovejoy announced that their first ever record, One Simple Trick, would be released on October 3rd.
The abbreviation ‘OST’ has been floating around the fandom, as well as allusions to the album’s artwork, with band members adding the three letters to comments they were leaving throughout the official Lovejoy fandom subreddit, r/lvjy, and giving ominous hints about the cover.
Lovejoy teased the announcement of their debut record two months ago with a mini-trailer posted to Instagram. Since then, they’ve released their first single off the album, “With Rob As My Witness,” as well as an accompanying music video, and steadily been posting photos of them in the studio, behind-the-scenes of music videos, clips of their live performances, and more.
Now, the official album announcement comes six weeks after the announcement of “With Rob As My Witness,” and nearly a month since its release.
However, it’s looking like Lovenjoyers will have to wait longer than just a month for the Lovejoy’s debut record.
